Installing SteelPLUS on the Server

Install SteelPLUS on a shared network location that will be accessible from all AutoCAD workstations.

Before You Begin

  • Log in to the server using an account with Administrator privileges.
  • Select or create the shared folder where SteelPLUS will be installed.
  • Verify that users will have Read & Write access to this folder after installation.

Installation

  1. Download the SteelPLUS installation package using the download link provided in your purchase or registration email.
  2. Save the installer to a temporary folder or your Desktop.
  3. Open Windows File Explorer and locate the downloaded installation file.
  4. Double-click the installer to begin the installation.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  6. After installation, create a backup copy of the installer in a secure location for future maintenance or reinstallations.
