Previous Versions of SteelPLUS

Only one version of SteelPLUS should be loaded into a particular version of AutoCAD.

If a previous SteelPLUS release has already been configured in AutoCAD, remove the previous configuration before loading the new version.

This includes:

  • Removing the previous SteelPLUS Support Path(s)
  • Unloading the previous SteelPLUS partial toolbars (CUIX files)
  • Removing any startup files that reference the older version

Loading two different versions of SteelPLUS into the same AutoCAD profile can result in:

  • Missing commands
  • Duplicate menus or ribbon panels
  • Startup errors
  • Unexpected program behavior

For best results, ensure the previous version has been completely removed from the AutoCAD profile before configuring the new SteelPLUS installation.
