Installation Problems

Default Installation Location

Steel2K App is installed into the following folder:

%AppData%AutodeskApplicationPluginsSoftDraftSteel2KS.bundle

Normally, there is no need to modify any of the installed files.

How to uninstall the SoftDraft App:

1. Locate the Original Installation File you Downloaded:
   The original installation file for the app is usually saved in your computer’s Downloads folder.

2. Run the Installation File:

   • For the Steel2K App, double-click the file named:
     SoftDraftLLCSoftDraftSteel2KSImperial.msi
   • For the Steel2K2D App, double-click the file named:
     SoftDraftLLCSoftDraftSteel2KS2DImperial.msi

3. Open the Uninstallation Options:
   When the installation dialog opens, you will see Repair / Reinstall or Uninstall options.

4. Start the Uninstallation Process:
   Select the Uninstall option, and the uninstallation process will begin automatically.

5. Finish the Process:
   Once the uninstallation is complete, click Close to exit the dialog box.

Your app will now be uninstalled successfully.
